  • Welcome back to another school year! A very special welcome to our 12 new pupils in Junior Infants: Jed, John, Luke, Harry, Rory, Declan, Micheal, Ava, Hannah, Leah, Lilly and Aoife!  We are looking forward to another year of fun, games and learning lots!
On Monday 27th June 2016, Junior & Senior Infant pupils, went to 'Jungle World' in Athlone for their school tour. They had great fun go-karting, sliding down Ireland's highest slide, bouncing, climbing and playing in the ball-pool. Afterwards, children went to Supermacs, where they were treated to a 'Twist' ice-cream after a hard days play and fun.
On Tuesday, 12th April, 2016, nature lover and artist, Gordon D' Arcy visited our school. He came to our room first and helped us draw pictures of the ladybird and the orange tipped butterfly. It was a lovely lesson and check out our fabulous drawings. Gordon was really impressed.

We are painting our school green to celebrate St. Patrick! Have a look at Infants and First Class pupils as they went green for the day.
Here are some pictures of the first week of school for Junior Infants 2015-2016.

On Thursday 25/06/15, Junior -Senior Infants and First went to Athlone I.T. to take part in the 'Let's Go'
school tour experience.
The children took part in many great, fun activities such as, pony cycles, disco dome, air mountain and

wobbly ladders.
They had a great time and it was suggested that we come to 'Let's Go' every day instead of going to school!
 Enjoy the pictures!

Congratulations to Patrick!
Our junior infant pupil did his class and school proud when he won a poster competition run by Galway County Council. He designed a poster for the theme: 'Blue Flag Beaches'.
He is pictured here with his prize: a family pass to Galway Atlantaquaria and his poster will also be displayed at Tra na mBan Beach in Spiddal.

In fact, Galway County Council were so impressed with the entries from our school, that they sent us a voucher for Easons worth 25 euro.
